ENGLISH CAMP
During the Corona season an English camp was
designed and conducted to improve four language skills, (listening, speaking, reading and writing
) through many creative and interactive activities .It was conducted for two
days and each day, three classes participated .
After the project proposal was approved a file of activities was created. Eight separate classrooms were prepared and teachers from neighboring schools participated as resource persons. A colorful opening ceremony was held and six paralleled classes of grade four students participated .After singing the camp song and giving the camp oath they were sent for the prepared classrooms and after 30 minutes students had to move to the other classroom..
Room A 📘- Games on word wall: Language games were
introduced and students actively participated in games by using modern
technology.( using the smart board) Games were based on shapes.
Room B 👦👧- Team building activities: Activities were
based on numbers and did the work in groups.
Room C 🎭- Mini drama: Students were given situations
and they had to prepare a dialogue and act it out.
Room D 💁- Story telling: Students listened to a story
which was presented by the teacher and they had to do a listening activity.
Room E 🗣- Fluency speaking: Students were given very
simple topics and within a time period they have to do a speech.
Room F 😄- Fun with vocabulary: New words were
introduced and students had to identify the clothes types.
Room G 📚- Entertaining reading: students were asked to
read the words and identify them. Language games (Board Race) were done .For
the entertainment songs were sung.
Room H 🖋- Essay writing: Students were asked to write
simple essays according to the given guide lines.
Students participated each and every activity enthusiastically and
joyfully .They spoke, wrote, listened and read in English and worked
individually and collaboratively

How
the English camp helps students in real life use of English
“The English Camp” Influences positively in students’
real life use of English by giving them meaningful opportunities to communicate
in practical situations.Through activities such as mini drama ,teamwork,
storytelling and fluency speaking students gained confidence to speak English outside
the classroom. Reading and vocabulary tasks helped them to recognize and use new words in daily contexts
.This camp encouraged students to listen ,speak ,read and write naturally and
to use English more comfortably in real life situation .
How I was inspired
Adding a Google form to my blog post helps me to gather feedback and understand my reader better. It increases engagement, make my blog more interactive and allow me to collect data easily for improving future content and building a stronger connection with my readers.



Such a nice experience for kids. It's so nice to see an effective English teaching method which makes the kids happy...
